When challenged they say that this is actually an "Amenity Fee" covering a voucher for breakfast of $15 to eat in the Bistro, the "free" bottle of water for the room, WiFi and the use of the gym and pool (not sure there is one).

Our biggest issue was that they charged a "Resort Fee" of $30 per day. The bistro restaurant for the hotel is small and the food limited in both choice and quality. On the negative side, the area in which the hotel is situated, despite being one block from Pioneer Square, is now very rundown and dirty, with lots of shops empty and many unfortunate homeless people sleeping in doorways. They also have (one) electric vehicle charging point, though charge $55 a night to park (necessary in the case of the hotel's location).
